In that sense, I prefer the Valley of Elah, which is not even happening in Iraq, but it lights what is impressive about surviving in enemy territory. While film demonstrating the soldier's life in Iraq (through the eyes of a specific combat unit) reaches its "plan to perfection. I agree that was not the purpose of the film, but the failure to give lesser iraquinos humanity, which are simply armed turbans, transform the action into a kind of videogame. At least Clint Eastwood in Letters from Iwo Jima and Flags Of Our Fathers, in addition to the long battles, gave human and political framework. As it is, the film is pro-war propaganda empty.
